Is there a way of exporting the customer list to Outlook?
It would be very useful for when I do my newsletter.
Thanks
Robyn

Yes, you can export your customer list to a CSV file using the Export function in ezimerchant. Outlook has an import function which will then import the data.
In V3, from the Main screen go to EXPORT DATA option and choose CUSTOMERS CSV Export.
In V4, on the Control Panel screen goto the DATA LINKS menu and to EXPORT DATA and choose the CUSTOMERS CSV EXPORT option.

That worked fine. I never thought to look there. I was looking in the customer orders section.
Thanks

So David how do you do the opposite? Import some of your contacts from outlook to Ezi? When you export from outlook the file extension is .wab and the supported Ezi extension is .csv

When you export from Outlook you are given the opportunity to select the type of file you would like to export to - choose CSV.

Okay, I have done that, but now when I try to import to Ezi, it says there is an error and that the info I am trying to import is running, which it's not.

You must not have the file open in excel when you attempt to do the import.. Can you confirm that you do not have the file open in excel?

I have nothing but Ezi open at the time of import.

It is possible that a program which had the file open didn't shut down properly and is still holding a handle to it. The only way to be sure is to reboot. That will free any file handles. If that doesn't do the job please contact support on 02 8889 8811 who will be able to assist you.
