Hi,
We've been using PayPal for a while now, but just recently (the last week or two especially) we've noticed that a huge number of PayPal payments never get completed (as much as HALF!). Upon contacting our customers, they all tell us that PayPal's pages conk out/don't load/won't proceed to the next step, and that they've eventually given up. Understandably, having half of our transactions fail is a serious problem - has anybody else being experiencing this, or have any ideas what could be going on? We've put a transaction through ourselves (Using MacOSX & Safari) with no difficulties. We're also still using the 'classic' PayPal rather than Express. Thanks

No problems but seriously whay are you using classic pay pal for????

Why wouldnt you convert to PayPal Express Checkout? the transaction is instant the goods are paid for and the customer cant get cold feet and change their mind at the last minute like they can with the origional method.

Unless there is a really good reason why you are not using paypal express I have to give you kind critisism and say your silly and missing out. & your competetors may be winning your lost sales.

I really am not trying to be rude so dont get me wrong but if you take a page out of my book being experienced with paypal then you will understand.

I have written a review on pay pal express for my business if you would like to take a look at our statistics: Increase online shopping sales (http://www.online-shop.com.au/increase_online_shopping_sales_review.htm)

Yes definitely use PayPal Express. Have had the one-off customer that had the problems with PayPal classic, as you described. It's not worth risking potential or existing customers from being unable to purchase from your site.
