After working with ezimerchant for only a short time, I find it freezes on me and I have to alt del and then re start. This can be very frustrating and time consuming. Any ideas of help to stop this from happening.

You seem to be using an older version of ezimerchant Pro. (the build date is way back in 2006). I would reccommend you investigate the possability of upgrading to the V4 series.

I also suggest that you keep your PC uptodate - Make sure your Operating System is fully uptodate using the Windows Update website.

Please update to 4.0.76

Then, if it still has crashes, please be specific about what you were doing and in what section you were doing it when the crash occured.

Usually I find when I do a lot of copy and paste, because in our situation, the detailed description is similar for all our products, so I copy 1 section and copy it through to the other products, so this is when it happens the most.

Can you email me a screen shot (or multiple screen shots) of the errors/crashes that you get - and if possible try to write down some replication steps - If we can replicate the problem we will fix it.

I will do this.
Just on another subject
Our home page is www.armstrongcabinets.com.au
After entering the store, is there a way of creating a link to go back to this home page.
If customers come into the store directly from a search engine, we want them to be able to click on a link to direct them to our home page.

You could edit your templates to include a link along the top to your home page :)

There are two ways that you can create a link back to your main site.

1) Edit your home page content through "Add new pages to your website", type or insert the link content (depending in if you want a text or image link) and then use the Insert Hyperlink function of your editor to create a link to your main site.
2) Edit the template as edward suggests. Details can be found at http://www.ezimerchant.com/faq/show/faq50070.asp.
