In the last two months myshophosting has been working on reducing the level of spam that reaches our clients inbox.
Last month we introduced global spam assassin checks on all inbound email. Any email that scores 17.5 is automatically deleted.
This had the effect of reducing the levels of spam, however the levels were still to high so today myshophosting introduced spamhaus.org spam checking.
Any IP address that is listed in spamhaus.org's spam database will not be able to send email to the myshophosting servers.
This should significantly reduce the level of spam recieved by our clients as well as reducing load on our server systems.
Spamhaus.org tracks internet spammers, spam gangs and spam services and provides dependable realtime anti-spam protection for internet networks.
