Shipping charges

Hi,
We would like to introduce a two tier shipping charge for our customers to select. First class or second class obviously at different rates. Is there any chance of this being available?

The current freight settings do not allow this sort of freight selection.

The closest you could get would be to use the Australia Post Delivery Rate Calculator - this will allow you to enable Regular Parcel Post and Express Post, and your customers can choose which method they want.

i noticed that country heart is from the united kingdom

so i am assuming that this then ( DRC calculator) would not suit their needs

unfortunatly in the UK only the standard freight settings in ezimerchant would be suitible.

Hi

The issue of shipping is becoming really important, particularly where an order is shipped as multiple parcels, the Aussie Post system only works economically for single parcels.

What we would like to see is a system where we can enter the 'problem postcodes' and have a tiered system, both by $ value and Post Code groups, e.g. Standard locations vs. problem postcodes at the $ value ranges currently available.

Thoughts?

The complexity in entering the freight prices for 'problem' postcodes (and different weight breaks) is very complex. You would have so much data that you would never get it right.

Would a list of problem Postcodes that would trigger a 'Freight Quotation will be supplied' message at checkout be possible?

Also, if a customer has both a freight promotion and a normal discount type promotion, how can these be entered?

The freight issue you suggest is not possible in ezimerchant.

There can only be a single promotion per order.
