Mailing Tubes

theres not really a thread for this but i think courier information is probably going to be the most appropriate category...

Does any one know where it is possible to get extra large size mailing tubes?Im talking 6-7ft long.

I have seen them around from time to time but when i tried finding a supplier on the net I had no luck. So i thaught I would ask just to see if anyone possibly knows?

Even though it is not listed, I believe they will source non standard sizes.

I just had a response to a few email enquiries that i sent this morning. I found a merchant that is using large mailing tubes and infact they told me that they were actually cardboard carpet core tubes and to approach a local carpet retailer. Their trash is our tresure!

So there you go if there is anyone else out there that is looking for large cardboard mailing tubes you have an answer aswell.

I ended up going to our local capet court and spoke to the owner there and he was more than happy to give me a truck full of the cardboard carpet core tubes for free.

So I got my self a load and they are awesome. most are 10-12 foot long and all i need to do is get out the saw and cut them to my desired length.
They are quite thick so they protect my product very well.
