Havent used the ezimerchant bulk mailer for a few months now, tried yesterday but couldnt get it working. A few different weird things happened but the end result was I could not achieve the processing stage and a message popped up saying
[microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data Source Name Not Found & No Default Driver Specified
All my mail server settings as far as I am aware are still configured correctly and I tried them with a few diffrent mailing hosts and ports but no luck.
I am running version 4.0.78.9
Is the mailer currently disabled? or is something else wrong?

ezimerchant Pro V4.0.78 has a relatively stable bulk emailer - We have clients sending 6000+ emails with it without to many problems - given good SMTP servers.
As your hosting with myshophosting, as long as your using the correct server settings it should all go OK.
The error your receiving is caused by a database error in ezimerchant, to correct it...
Try this:
1. Go into the online store X folder and delete the EMAIL LOG folder
2. Go into the CRM section of ezimerchant and then into the EMAIL LOG tab.
3. Delete all the campaigns in the log.
Once all deleted, close ezimerchant and reopen it.
Then give it a try.

Trouble with bulk emailer.
We just upgraded our computer - backed everything up, downloaded latest version of Ezimerchant and then restored backup copy. Got everything up and working, images all correct and so forth.....Trying to send an email to our database - not working. Deleted email log folder and campaigns - still nothing, checked email settings they are all correct....what could I be doing wrong.

Hi Gary
Can I get you to email me a screen shot of your email settings? (support @ myshophosting.com) I will check for you.
As your hosting with myshophosting, you can set the PORT to 26 - This will get around the common problem of certain ISP's blocking Port 25.
