Wish: Prints Mailing Label + Mail Merge

When we print out the downloaded order, can there also be an option to allow a printout of a mailing address label, including the sender and receivers details. That way we can pack the goods and then attached the address label.

Maybe an option to print the label size as a 1/4, 1/2 or full size A4 sheet.

Also, maybe a export mail merge into Access or another database etc, so we can add our customers to our mailing database for future mailouts.

Seiko printers cant print as wide as Dymo's - this may play a part

But they take the same Dymo labels ? (got it for nothing can't really complain :)

Its only recent Seikos which can print 54mm wide labels and from what I have seen they are 2x the price of Dymo. Dymo act as normal windows printers making it easy to write apps to suit them - Seiko may or may not be the same. I havent seen v4 so I dont know for certain if it wont work but as its written/tested for Dymo I think you would be stupid not to buy a Dymo if you had the choice.

We may add more label printer brands depending on demand. The Dymo label printers are easy to implement due to a good programmer interface design.

Not sure what you are talking about but I use avery labels for my envelopes and parcels. Am i lost or do I have an alternative request?

ezimerchant Professional V3.8.2 and above now have the full DYMO label writer integration.

Note: I have personally looked at the integration documentation of the Seiko Smart label printers - They do not provide anywhere near the same level of integration options that the DYMO label writers do.
