I've had a lot of people call in lately looking to find out about custom editing and modification of their online stores, and in my opinion the easiest solution is to brush up on your HTML and CSS skills.
As you would expect the best place to start is on the web itself, and there are many fantastic resources available to the novice right through to the expert.
One of my personal favourites is the website 'W3 Schools' (http://www.w3schools.com/), it has many great and simple tutorials, quick examples and at-your-fingertips references for both HTML and CSS as well as much more. I always recommend this to customers who are looking for more information, and I still make use of this site myself day-to-day.
If you know of any other great resource and tutorial sites you could recommend to fellow EziMerchant users please feel free to link them here.
Some quick links to W3 Schools references:
HTML 4.01 Tag Reference (http://www.w3schools.com/tags/default.asp)
Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) 2 Reference (http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_reference.asp)
JavaScript Reference (http://www.w3schools.com/jsref/default.asp)
HTML DOM Reference (http://www.w3schools.com/htmldom/dom_reference.asp)
Happy Web Hacking! ;)
