View Full Version : Inserting images into Additional Pages and Wrap Around Text

Hi,

I am trying to insert images into the additional pages but I don't seem to be having much luck.

When I place the image in the position I want it in the text doesn't seem to wrap around neatly and does this bizarre break in the text.

Maybe I am having a blonde moment (highly likely late on a friday night!) but can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Hi

What editor are you using to edit your additional pages?

I reccommend front page 2003...

When you insert an image it will normally act like a big font so text wont neatly wrap around it..
You will need to align it to the left or right for that to happen OR place it in the cell of a table.

David,

Thanks for your prompt response. The editor is the standard AWP editor that comes with Ezimerchant Pro. I have access to dreamweaver but I am not adept at using it so I think I will try using a table.

Hi

No probs.. The only problem is that the AWP editor is actually very basic.. It will let you insert a table but unfortunatly it wont allow you to set its border to 0 (so you will see the table outline and grid)

Front Page XP is highly reccommended as it allows full control. (or dreamweaver if your upto it!)

I use webex, also known as webexpress (www.mvd.com) which is very simple to use. I could provide some help if you want it when you have problems. I have been using it for 6 years now and find it the best for mid range requirements. Dreamweaver... looked and fell asleep from technical overload. If you are interested give me a yell at surveyshop@iprimus.com.au

[ed: For a more modern app try NVU - www.nvu.com, free and similar to Front Page]

I am having the same problem. Even when I do align it right I get 1 line of thext that "wraps" around the image. I have done many thing to try and work this out. I even tried using layers, which looked great in the Frontpage preview but generated was covering the whole template.
It is driving me crazy. Any suggestions anyone?
