Hi,

I am currently in process of setting up my company. A new online sales company.
I have spent ages getting the website looking how i want it too and all i was lacking was the trolley and products.

Now I am at the stage where i am signing up with dealers and getting an idea of what i want on the site... so i have looked at trolley software... and from what i have seen it doesnt appear that i can use the site i have designed.

Why? Am i doing something wrong? Can sites that have already been designed be integrated with shopping trolleys? If not, why not? Why cant i just add code to the pages instead of having to redo my site?

Any help you can give a wannabe millionaire is gratefully welcomed.

To make the sites easy to maintain ecommerce software needs to be able to add, remove and modify products on your site.

Its simply not possible to achieve this if your site has no structure.

This is why most ecommerce programs insist on building the site pages. It may take longer initially to set the site up and to make it look how you want but maintaining the site will become a whole lot easier.

I have templates for my site, that i have loving created over the last month, how can i make the software use my template and just add in its own product pages where needed?
I thought that once you had a site designed you got some code added to the pages that enabled the products to be updated in trolleys etc. Or am I wrong about that?

Is there other software that will do this?

This is all so stressful :(

I cant load the site up as i am still waiting on the business certificate... and i cant display anything until i have it....

is there ability to attach images to this forum somehow... i have a screen shot without the title etc in.

It is a basic top title image with upper nav and on the left is a 3 layer navigation bar that has about 18 categories in the initial bar with each category displaying several options.

There is also a footer with terms & conditions and privacy statements etc.

...... if i cant attach i will email to you if you tell me your email address.

Thanks
