Does anyone out there import their Ezimerchant orders into MYOB. I've had a few goes without success. One problem seems to be that if the customer does not exist in MYOB it rejects the record.

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Hello? Any comment from EziMerchant people?

Please note that I have very little understanding of how MYOB works but from what I do know....

1. Accounting packages require a customer record to exist before you can create an invoice.
2. When creating an invoice against a customer record the products that go onto the invoice must exist within the accounting application.

Therefore.

For you to be able to import ezimerchant orders into MYOB or similar you must.

1. Make sure ALL the products that are in your ezimerchant catalogue exist in your accounting application. They MUST have exact matching product codes.

2. Import the customer record (from say the exported CSV file data that ezimerchant can produce)

3. Import the product data into that invoice. (unsure of how this works with MYOB).

I hope this info helps! If anyone has more success please post it here.
P.S We have had discussions with MYOB in the past and they want ridiculous amounts of money to integrate with their product (over $250 per ezimerchant user!)
