Could the search function be expanded to include searching my webcontent pages as my site doubles as an information site and this would be useful for my visitors.

Most definitely agree with this one. The search option is misleading if it doesn't incude content.

It can be configured to search through BRIEF description content (goto the settings menu in ezimerchant and switch it on).
Unfortunatly this will slow the search function down - as would including the content on the additional pages.
The only way to make a search function search through everything is to have a server side search. This is difficult as there are many different types of hosting servers that our merchants use.

Hi Paul
I no longer use the Ezi search because it only searched product pages.
I now use http://www.freefind.com
It really is free and I've had no bothersome emails from the developers. You can customise the results page etc. Just schedule when their spider indexes your site (I do mine once a week). Sure you have to wait a week but it does ALL pages.
