I wonder if we can actually do that? I tried every single buttons that are in ezimerchant, but was unsuccessful. Can anyone out there know how to make this possible?

Yes you can, just eliminate all the tax that you found on the ezimerchant. The system will automatically eliminate the ugly looking "local - international" buttons.

The international price button is displayed depending on what tax rate you have set. To turn off the local, domestic & international buttons you will need to go into the "Enter Tax Details" section of ezimerchant & make all the tax rates the same. eg Change them all to 10%. Now go back & generate your website & you will see that the buttons have been removed.

Yes, but by making all the tax rates the same. eg Change them all to 10%, won`t the International customer`s be then charged 10% tax on the product as well??

Hi Sam

Yes, this is correct.

Instead of removing the buttons as Scott described, why dont you relabel them to somthing that makes more sence?

See www.countrybrewer.com.au for an example.

To relabel the buttons goto the EDIT SHOPPING CART SETTINGS section and then to the BUTTONS tab. In this screen you can relabel the buttons.

Is there anyway of keeping international prices without the GST, but not displaying the 'ugly' buttons? I'm now selling overseas, and need to have the orders processed without GST, but I really don't like the look of the domestic/international buttons.

You can replace these buttons with your own custom buttons if you want.

In the generated website they are called:

cartdomestic_on.gif
cartdomestic_off.gif
cartinternational_on.gif
cartinternational_off.gif

If you create your own versions of these images and place them in the buildxxxx/images folder (overwriting the generated versions) then they should work.

Note: Regenerating the site will overwrite your copies of the images again, so you would need to copy them back in just before uploading.
