Hi, Im in the process of setting up a manual merchant account. I've done a proper business plan (being honest) and come up with first year sales of less than $10,000. Will any bank take my request seriously? What kind of figures do they look for?

From what ive heard the banks are more interested in your ability to formulate a business plan (hence run a successful business) rather than the figures.

My bank manager stated that the banks don't expect a profit for the first few years. What they do consider profitable is exactly what David said.

Can anyone recommend a non-bank credit card payment facilitator such as WorldPay. I would appreciate if you provide some info. regarding your experience with them.
