Importing into the product database/table

I've got my database propogated except for the picture URL field. It appears as though ezimerchant wants me to import each picture for my products manually. I already have my pictures uploaded with large and thumbs from a previous shopping cart and don't want to "re import" this info into the software. Is there any way to designate the proper URL path by importing this info into the ezimerchant product table via MS Access?

This would save lots of hours of work already done.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi there,

I had the same issue, as I'm using excel, I think it would probably work the same as access.

What I did was:

1. Insert Hyperlink
2. Choose the image or thumb you want to display
3. Save & Close excel file
4. Import Data (making the category -> thumbnail)

Hope that helps, not sure if it'll work with access, but worth the shot...

All you have to do is put the full path to the file you want ezimerchant Pro to use.

It CANNOT be a web url!!! the image file MUST be local (on your PC)

I would reccommend creating a folder called c:\websiteimages

Put all your small and large product images in there.

Then in excel the path should be c:\websiteimages\imagename.jpg

Simple as that
