Outlook offers the ability to leave mail on the server after it is downloaded

Could Ezi have a similar ability with orders which would allow download on one PC (slave) then only when the master downloads them do they get cleared from the server?

Hi Bert

We will try to include this functionality in a future version of ezimerchant.

That idea would have saved me the embarrassment when a customer rang a month after his order and asked to cancel it. I had forgotten I had downloaded that order on the shop PC rather than the one I mainly use at home. What a dope!

It amazes me how many of our merchants seem to download orders here there and everywhere and get stuck with dribs and drabs of orders everywhere. You should have only one PC that downloads the orders!

If you really must know about your orders while your at home, on holidays or trekking on the back of a goat in the Himalayas then set up an order completion action in ezimerchant to ‘EMAIL A RECIEPT TO SOMEONE ELSE’ and email yourself a copy of every order (minus card details of course!). You can add as many of these actions as you want so you can send a copy to your hotmail, yahoo and any other email address you fancy! That way, no matter where you are you will always know when your site recieves an order.

David,

I would also vote for this functionality.

P.S. Glad you are listening to users feedback. Many companies do not want to.
