Just found this nifty little feature on one of my competitors sites where if you enter your postcode on the product screen it will give you an estimate of the postage for that item to your suburb. I think this gets around one of the real negatives of my site whereby people dont know the full cost of an item till after they have entered most of their details. I feel that I lose a significant proportion of sales because people are too scared to enter their details when they are not sure yet whether they want to buy it.

Is there any chance this could be implemented easily on Ezimerchant. I would even be happy to pay a small sum to see it done.

From what I can work out they have 2 or 3 postage breaks, based on what state you are in
so you could write some javascript which looks at the first number of the post code and returns 10.50 if in 2xxxx, 12.50 if in 4xxx etc.

I personally think it would be better for them to just come up front and say $12.50 per order shipping - less mucking around.
