Google listings

Hi All
I know this is somewhat a finger in wind issue but from a cold start how long does it usually take google to spider a site? even if rankings are hopeless

They claim 6 weeks from the time you add it to the index via www.google.com/addurl

6 weeks has, I'm sure +/- 5 weeks. Especially if you do an addurl in Google, you find it is sooner. This is based on seeing a new product, that I had added, listed in google within 2 weeks. Either that or Google loves me :)

Niko, The first poster was refering to adding his site to google for the FIRST time.. Not how often google updates once your listed.
