Hi,

I am setting up my website and editing the main page. I have 4 boxes on the screen where I am linking them to product pages in the site.

For example I have an Adobe product which is Prod99.htm, I right click on the image to create a hyperlink, what do I put in the field??

Do I just put \prod99.htm or the while URL of the site as it will be when it is published

http://www.selectsolutions.com.au/prod99.htm or ..\prod99.htm

I haven't tested the site in the real web environment so these things may pan out anyway.. just trying to get all my links right so it doesn't die when I do a release. I have to set up quite a few hyperlinks through-out the website to various custom pages, want to get it right the first time.

Ta.

its always referenced, meaning that you don't need to put the while URL in only the portion or page title. In this case prod99.htm is sufficient. It is best to do that because it is a good habit to get into as you my want to use some of the pages in another web site etc, thus, if you had the full URL you will have to edit all links.

Sorry, not "while URL", but "whole URL" doesn't need to be used.

so there is no way to test the links until the site is live, the it is just a matter of fixing the ones I have mucked up?
