What have you done?!!!! Sometimes I can't just click on the plus icon to add a product, I first have to click on the product already entered above and then it allows me to add a new product. You removed the need to press enter at tax type but now after I tab the weight in I can't press the plus sign to add a new product if that previous product is not highlighted.
Also when I click on new product icon the first cells shows the flashing cursor to indicate that I am in the first cell (product code) I am in but after that there is no cursor to show which cell I am in. Thus, I could be in Product Name, Price, GST or weight.
More effort should be put into fixing up major design error, that being not letting customers see any discounts before having to type their details in. These minor changes are not what we want, we want a package that works for the merchant not for the programmer.

Hi Niko
Please read the release notes for 3.9.3 - You will see that it contains only minor 'feature' updates for users and contains mostly under the hood type changes which will allow us to build more major type features in the future. We have changed the complete underlying grid code in the products and categories section so minor changes in behaviour and a few useability bugs are expected - If you can provide us with specific problems relating to these latest changes we would be happy to fix them.
I have tested 3.9.3 and I can see your probelem with the Add product button and the cell focus problem and will get a patch out to fix these issues asap.

Hi Niko
We have just released a 3.9.4 build which corrects the UI behaviour when adding products as well as a few other bugs that customers reported after the release of 3.9.3.

Hi guys, sorry, I am sure I am doing this wrong, but its a new site to me and I can't find anywhare it says"post a question!!" I'm sure there is, but i am blind or dumb or something....
Anyway i am hoping someone can help me with a very simple question on GST. I've been reading the questions and answers, and there is obviously some clever people out there...
Can anyone tell me what we do for inter - company money transfer, for GST purposes?
To explain, our company is registered for GST etc, so thats not a problem. We collect it, send it, do the BAS statements, all as you would expect.
However, we have just set up another bank account inside our company, purely so we can do a new type of business as well as our existing stuff.
Effectively this means we may pay for something from the first account, sell the product, then put the profit in the second account, so we can build up some funds.
How do we account for the GST? Is it as simple as-
A product is purchased for $1000, (claim GST $90.90)
product is sold for $2000 (quarantine GST $181.81)
Does this mean-
Purchase cost ex GST $909.10
sale ex GST $1818.19
Therefore profit is $909.09, and we can safely put this figure aside?
I know it seems a dumb question, but is that correct, can anyone tell me?
Hope you can help, love your forum,
Thanks
Richard
