One thing I am not too keen on (and it seems to be the only thing) is the way that categories with multiple sub categories are displayed on the site.

For example, a category such as 'Jewellery' on the main page takes you to another page which lists all the sub-categories such as 'necklaces', 'pendants', 'rings', etc...
These sub-categories all appear as a list of text which I personally think looks a bit rough or amateurish.

Is it possible to remove this text list (or at least place it right at the bottom of the screen) and have images for each sub-category (so a picture of 'necklaces', another of 'pendants') perhaps with the subcategory name below the relevant image?

I am not afraid to do this within Dreamweaver or similar, I presume it is just a case of putting the image into the page and the relevant HTTP link. However, would I need to make these changes each time I upload changes via EziMerchants upload tool?

I hope this makes sense, and I hope that you can help me.

The answer to my question is... yes, it can be done quite easily.

This is EXTREMLY easy to achieve.

Each category has a CATEGORY DESCRIPTION - which is simply HTML code thats displayed at the top of the category (just above the subcategory list).

You can simply edit a given categories description and insert a HTML table and place as many images into it as you desire and link these to the relevant subcategories.

Many ezimerchant sites do this as image links can somtimes be more effective than plain text links.
