Hi,
What I would like to know is.....
is it possible to add statistical software to your site to monitor it. For example, most of these packages require adding html to the "thanks for your order" page, the actual check out page, and the pages that your "stock" are listed on.
Some examples of this software/data are the Google Analytics, Statcounter, Shinystat and Onestat to name a few.
If you can add it can you tell me how.
Cheers

Hi

ezimerchant Pro sites can be basically broken into two seperate parts.

1. The site that sits on your hosting providers webserver.
2. The actual secure order pages served to your customers by our GTS server.

Its easy to add code to any of the pages in the first section (by coping any code you require into say the BANNER section of ezimerchant which will include the code on the bottom of every page)

The second section however its no so easy as we need to control exactly what code runs on the GTS checkout for security reasons.

It is possible to include tracking code on the ORDER CONFIRMATION page. (the page that the customer see's after they have purchased. We even include some variables you can use (order total and order number) - this information can be used to track sales information.

Google have a system called Google Adwords - which we support. Please see <a href="http://forums.ezimerchant.com/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=470">http://forums.ezimerchant.com/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=470</a>

It also supports conversion tracking systems like commission monster and clix galore.

Im not sure yet however if it will work with Google Analytics as they have not fully released the system (I tried to sign up to test it but they have closed it due to 'overwealming demand'

Thanks for that info it helped heaps. Analytics is still taking registrations of interest and will release it when "they can cope with the demand".
