Hi!
Ezimercahnt pro does the backup of the database once you exit the program. Does it backup all the files needed just in case the computer crashes and the merchant has to restore the backed-up web site from scratch? If not what additional files does one need to back up ?

I recommend backing up your entire
c:\windows\program files\ezimerchant directory
as this contains your themes/product layout, copies of images etc
may as well backup your images directory as its own
to be super sure do an export to CSV of your products as well - this saved me once
Make sure your backup works - my pc failed and as did my backup once.

ezimerchant Pro's default install location is c:\program files\ezimercpro
When you create a website they are stored in c:\program files\ezimercpro\websites\onlinestoreX
(where x is an auto generated number - starting at 1)
When you do a backup in ezimerchant Pro the contents of your websites OnlinestoreX folder is backed up.
This obviously doesnt include any custom theme modifications you have made OR any small/large product pictures that you have used.

Hi
Why is it that in the Explorer under Ezimerpro folder there are more than 3 folders named Build_NoReg_0
Build_NoReg_1
BuildXXXX ( Merchant number)
Is it safe to delete the Build_NoReg_0 and Build_NoReg_1 folders?

Hi
When a non registered user generates a website ezimerchant pro creates a folder such as BUILD_NoReg_0 or Build_NoReg_1 etc.
These folders only contain generated website data and can be safely deleted.
The Buildxxxx (registration number) is the folder that ezimerchant Professional will always generate to once your registered. This folder should also be able to be deleted because ezimerchant Pro should be able to simply regenerate it.
You should NEVER place any files into this folder yourself.
