Weight tag?

Hi all! I'm in the middle of editing my site and was wondering if there is a 'weight tag' that automatically generates the weight as entered into the catergory and products page. On each product listing, I want to show the weight as well, so that my customers can get an idea on how much postage will be. Instead of adding it manually to each product description, I was hoping that I can just edit the code slightly to have it appear. Any ideas?
