Additional Website

Hi!
It possible to create additional wesites with by obtaining additional Ezimercnat Pro licences, but if the merchant has just one Merchant banking account from a bank, how will the additional web sites manage the checkout process?
Secondly how would an Online Payment Processing Gateway handle the additional website? Does it mean that with each additional website the merchant will need a new merchant Id from the bank and have a new or seperate account with a payment processing gateway?
Can additional wesites made with easy mercahnt pro be linked to one merchant account and payment gateway?

Hi

If you wish to create multiple websites with ezimerchant Pro they can all use the same payment gateway account and hence the same merchant bank account! All you need to do is insert your payment gateway details into each of the different ezimerchant Professional websites that you build.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
What if the additonal websites have different Doamin names? In that case how will processing through the same Gateway be possible and will the Merchant bank then allow the tranaction?
What would the merchant name be on the customer`s credit card statement ? Will it be the Original website name or of the Additional website?
Secondly, will there be an additional monthly payment for each additional website for the GTS ( Global Transaction Server) ?

Hi

If you want to use your merchant account for more than one website you should be careful not to make it to specific. You should make sure that when your customers order they are advised in the order confirmation screen and email reciept that the card will be charged by "xxxxx" name. - This should help avoid chargebacks by customers not being aware of where the charge came from.

When you create a second site in ezimerchant Pro you will need an additional licence (Once off fee of $99.00 each) and the second site will also have to pay the monthly GTS fee of $29.95 AUD.

You can have each site on its own domain name if you like - Of course you will need to pay for hosting of each domain name (and pay for the domain names themselves)
