Direct Deposit - Payment method

Hi David - just a quick query - I've just added direct deposit to our page and am having trouble adding the information I need. I want to include:

Account Name:
BSB:
Account Number:
Bank Name:
Reference:

and a quick message saying this option takes longer (i.e. credit card is faster). However, I can't fit it all within the necessary 255 characters. Is there aany way of going past these 255 characters and if not, can you make it something that is dealt with in the next version?

Hi Barbara

I reccommend you add all your account information in to the 'On Order Confirmation Page'.

To do this goto:

Select Payment Methods -> Direct Deposit -> 'On Order Confirmation Page' tab.

In here enter your banks details.

On the other tab ('On Payment Page') you should mention that credit card payments are faster etc. There is no need to put your bank details in this tab either.

You shouldnt need more than 255 characters in either of these two tabs. If you are using this much then I doubt your customers will bother to read it.

Thanks David, I had been trying to add all the information to the payment page, probably don't need it there... Any ideas on my other question - about product code tags?
