Hello

I've been reading everything about the product and also within this forum with interests to purchase this product and build the site on behalf of my client. He would like a Forum added to the website/shopping cart, to enable his members to log in (through the forum) to offer personal services and answer any questions.

It says on the product description that I can generate other webpages (home, about us etc) but can I create a forum using PHP BB and add this into the website? So that it looks apart (integrated) of the overall site?

What I want to create is (overview)
Homepage
About Us
Contact Us
Products Pages (to checkout)
Services Offered
FAQ
Forum (for Registered Members)

And potentially also add, Surveys, Polls, Form Mail Scripts, can these be added without conflicting with the ezimerchant product?

Thank you for your time and look forward to a response.
Warm Regards
Christel

Hi Christel

ezimerchant Pro builds a static HTML website which can link to a forum.

When adding a forum to the site usually the forum will live in a subfolder on the webserver (called forum as an example)
You then just link ezimerchant to the forum.

Many of our users have done this, and if you host the site at www.myshophosting.com we can install phpbb for free for you - all you would need to do is configure the forum settings you require and start using it.

A higher quality alternative to phpbb would be vbulletin - vbulletin is the forum code we use for these forums. It is very professional and reliable. www.myshophosting.com can host a vbulletin forum and we can help you install it for a small fee.
