I've recently downloaded coffee cup DHTML Menu Builder, and would love to have it as a search tool on my shop site. It's much faster to use as i have a lot of categories and subcategories.
Is there any way of placing it onto a page, even if it runs separately from the standard menu?
I've tried but it comes up with a javascript error...

Yes, you can add all sorts of code to your ezimerchant site, however it may need to be added to the theme files.
The code may require you add JS code into the header or even <body> tag of the theme file(s) code.
Please see http://www.ezimerchant.com/faq/faq-show.asp?p=1&v=0&c=0&f=50070 for more information on editing themes.

Hi David,
I put the code into the "Counter" box on the Online Marketing category in ezimerchant. Now the menu comes up on my homepage, which is great.
I originally put it into the "Banner" box, which was good because the menu came up on every page, but it turned my 70mb website into 220mb which was a pain to upload...
Anyway, thought it might be helpful for others looking for a simple way to get a DHTML menu running. The free version from CoffeeCup is great and very adaptable.
We've been using ezimerchant since 2002, and love it! Keep up the good work,
Nic

I note that practical-webs in actual fact obtains much of it's designs from http://www.freewebthemes.co.uk/. Must be some kind of affiliation.

Not so.. Practical-webs and the freewebthemes site you mention both get their theme concept artwork from a central place thats available to many thousands of sites.
