Hi,
is there any way with EziMerchant to disallow customers from using free email addresses. As we all know 99% of the frauds come from these addresses and it would be nice to be able to just stop customers from using them altogether. Free email address are such a pain in the bum and to be honest unnecessary since any good ISP will generally provide you with an email address with your connection anyway. Granted the Maxmind fraud checking shows you this information but this just adds another check for the poor old merchant.

If you cant do this now could this be a feature in a new release to allow merchant to enable / disble free email addresses

Any comments please.....

Michelle

Hi David,

I guess since you moved this to the wish list section it currently can't be done. Being now on the wish list is it something that is possible.

Hi Michelle

Yes, its possible for us to implement in a future version. It has been added to our 'list'

A resounding 'no' from me.

As long as it is an option, no problem but 25% of our customer base would be using free email services such as hotmail, yahoo and an increasing gmail component.
