can you please consider adding a restriction removing COD as a payment type when the shipping address is outside the merchants country. I am sure no other countries allow International COD so it should not affect international merchants.

Hi Ben

In future versions of ezimerchant Pro we want to make it so you, the merchant can choose which countries you want to sell to and what payment method and freight methods apply to each country. Currently however it cannot be done.

In regards to freight information, is it possible (or in furture updates) to have freight costs for each individual state in Australia instead of just Local & Interstate. As I have noticed some freight costs vary greatly for the same product for delivery to different states.

Also, if there are amounts in the 'Initial Shipping Charges' boxes & freight is charged on ISC & Weight, can I set a products (eg. gift vouchers) freight charge to be $0.00.

We will be working on freight options in the future - It will allow greater flexability for Australian merchants - At the moment we do realise the restrictions that the 'local' and 'domestic' regions impose and we should be able to rectify this to allow different freight for individual states and maybe even different freight for post code ranges.

[UPDATE: ezimerchant Professional V3.8.2 and above now support the Australia Post Delivery Rate Calculator (DRC) system which allows for postcode accurate freight calculations and country accurate freight calculations for international orders]
