Hi!,
Most online stores sell their products based on a price that is relevant for that particular country (A particular product that sells for 50 Australian dollars in Australia may not sell for the same price in UK or in USA ). So if a merchant can set a different price based on the country they are selling to would be perfect, that way the merchant who sells the item to an overseas country does not have to worry about the cost of that product for selling it to an overseas country.
This very relevant in case of an online florist & similar busineses where costs would vary from country to country. This will also rule out any doubts that a customer of an overseas country might have about how much it would cost them in their local currency.
If in Ezimerchant a customer can select a country and then the prices for that particular country are displayed then it would be extremely benficial for the merchant as they will get the correct amount from the customer for that particular country.

When we created the GST component of ezimerchant Pro the tax department was extremly quick to point out that when selling to International customers the price MUST be the EX TAX price - It cannot be different. If you sell somthing Internationally and you charge a different (more expensive) price then the tax department sees this as collecting but not passing on the tax component. If there are costs assosiated with selling a product Internationally then you must make up this difference in the 'postage and handling' - not the actual product price.

(can anyone else, an accountant maybe, fill us all in a little better here?)
