image files

I am creating a new theme for myself. At present I am replicating exactly the size and shape of the existing files in the 'images' directory. However I notice that while there does appear to be some consistency in the naming convention of these files between templates, some templates only have four image files while others have 18. Is there some set of rules as to how the Ezimerchant programme uses the contents of the 'images' directory to build the webpage? Can I use these rules to go beyond just copying an existing template?

Hi Johnorg

You will find simalarity in some ezimerchant templates however there are no rules has to how many images you can use in a tempalte or what there filenames are.

ezimerchant templates are basic HTML, and can reference any number of images in the code.
