2 things on my wish list are more user definable payment options on checkout- like BPAY and Direct Deposit. A better update function - ie: the ability to keep track off files on my computer and that of files on the server. If files are not on my computer then they should be deleted from the server. (Like Frontpage).

Hi
Future version will include Direct Deposit. [Edit: NOW IMPLEMENTED]
Unfortunatly we cant do BPAY as there are some technical issues we have to work through. [Edit: NOW IMPLEMENTED in V4.0]
Front page relies on special Microsoft server side scripts to manage the files.
Deleting files from the server can be tricky (we must be certain that the file is not used!). Hopefully at some point we will be able to do this but at this stage we are not.
[OPTION: If you want to clean off all unused files from the webserver try the following:
1. Delete the BUILDxxxx directory from your PC (inside the ezimercpro folder)
2. Delete all the files from your webserver with an FTP program
3. Generate the site, test and then upload.
4. The site should now only contain used files.]

Deleting is quite important - especially as pages may be indexed by search engines and without the record appearing in the java price file all kinds of issues occur if a user finds the page. Maybe if we disable/delete a product ezimerchant could build a page saying - no longer availible - or better still re-direct to the homepage of the relevent site

Hi Ben
Good idea although after a while there will be a lot of those files hanging around taking up space on the webserver.
We will (maybe in a point upgrade) give the option to delete unused files on the server.

I will personally make sure that it doesnt upload thumbs.db
[UPDATE: This is now implemented in 3.8.x and above. ezimerchant will no longer upload the thumbs.db file]

Ahhh, yes, the dreaded Thumbs DB. I think we have all had that one before and is one we don't forget.
Also, a suggestion...... can the program only use one image and auto resize for thumbnail view and then the larger image.
I have seen other programs that only use one image for both and the program resizes the pic automatically so we don't have to worry about messing around with 2 images, one called small and the other large.
Thanks

agree on the single image concept, having to edit a large pic into a smaller one is time consuming and no automation in ensuring the small image is consistantly the same size. I have 12 images per page and different sized images makes the page look... well.... horse manure

The free included image resizer does this?
It can even batch process an entire folder of images - Perfect for making small versions of your images. (either all the same height or same width, your choice depending on the image bound parameters you set)
