Erm Spell Checker ?

I can make a site, but can I write a chunk of text without making a spelling mistake ? haha

A spell check in the product description would be a very much welcomed option ..

Or am I being totally blind and not seeing it ? lol

Hi

Including a spell checker in the inbuilt HTML editor would be extremely costly to us.

ezimerchant Pro has the ability to let you edit product descriptions in external editors - such as Microsoft Front Page which include spell checkers.

If you don't already have front page 2002/XP then I highly recommend getting it. It has more advanced editing features than the basic ezimerchant HTML editor.

For example:

HTML Table Support: The ezimerchant HTML editor provides BASIC HTML Table support. I.e it allows you to insert a table.

Front Page however allows precise control over the table like cell size, spacing, borders etc.

Tables are a fantastic layout tool that should be used often to help layout your pages.

The spell checker in Front Page is a bonus!

For a quick fix I just copy and paste the page into word to check for errors and then fix any manually (don't copy and paste back, your formatting might get screwed up).

Any pages I think might be suspect I just copy and paste the text into Word or Outlook to do the spell checking.

The problem with this is that MS word will add its own custom formatting codes to your HTML.. So dont copy and paste back into ezimerchant Pro's editor.

Yeah, the first time I replied to this thread a couple of days ago I mentioned that (but the whole moderation problem was happening). Pretty much you just use it to proof read your text for a quick fix, hopefully you only have a couple/few words that need attention :-)
