Hi,
Some of our customers like to order online for 'pick-up' at our store. Can this be added.

This is a good idea. We'll keep this in mind when adding more delivery options to ezimerchant.

I second this - I would imagine it would be trivial to do

Yes, simple matter of creating a payment method in the GTS database, updating the ASP code, updating the client code, updating the client server communication, order report, order download and various other pieces of code :-P

Oh.. then there is the testing...

Not so trivial (!) but certainly worthwhile - I have the same problem quite often, so this would be another very worthwhile addition for the future...

Ditto on this wish. A Pick up selection would make it easier I believe for alot of Companies that have actual Retail stores. I know I would like this one!

Hello,

If it's so simple why isn't already in place?

C'mon guys we are losing business (and patience) here.

We can't expect our customers to write everything in that already overflowing comments box at the checkout.

We have to give them easy 'checkbox' options right there in front of them in black and white.

You guys need to think it through all the way. Put yourself in a retail position. Honestly, I thought I was buying a #1 shopping cart system, but there are a lot of flaws, of which I thought would have been rectified a long time ago.

Listen to your Merchants and what they are saying and wanting to see in this software. Please get it together before we all start looking for other programs that already have the basics in place.

We're not asking for much, just value for money, especially as we have to pay you our monthly fee. If you are not providing the service, maybe you should reduce your monthly merchant fee we almost certainly don't like paying each month, especially when we are not getting what we are asking for in your product.

Hi Sam

My comment about it being so 'simple' was meant to be sarcastic. The fact is, that adding some features to ezimerchant are just not as simple as it may seem. We try to release updates when we can and I think that most of our users would agree that over the last 6 years they have got a LOT of important updates - And most of them for free.

We have released constant updates to ezimerchant Pro over the last 12 months - Take a look at the revision history page for information on all the updates we have released...

<a href="http://www.ezimerchant.com/download/updates/ezimerchantpro/revisionhistory/">http://www.ezimerchant.com/download/updates/ezimerchantpro/revisionhistory/</a>

When you purchased ezimerhant Pro you should have evaluated it based on its currnet feature set. We give a free trial and a 30 day money back guarantee on our software.. What more can we offer?

Can you please tell me what fundamental flaws you refer to? There are hundreds and hundreds of websites using ezimerchant Pro to sell product on the web so it cant be that bad! Granted it doesnt suit everybody but then again what solution does?

I have looked at your website Sam and it would appear that you havent even scratched the surface of what ezimerchant Pro is capable of doing.

A quick search on the net provided me with many quality examples of websites selling Scrapbooking supplies built with ezimerchant Pro:

http://www.scrapbookattic.com.au/ (this is an awsome site! - I was most impressed)
http://www.scrapbookingcorner.com.au/
http://www.readysetstamp.com.au/
http://www.scrapbookinglife.com.au/

There are to many more to list.

Our solution is probably the best value for money solution on the market.. I cant think of a cheaper commercial solution.. We even provide free phone and email support - I dont think ANY other shopping cart software on the planet provides that.

Sorry - I disagree
For $450 + $290PA (+hosting) I dont think you will get a cheaper, more feature rich product out there - especially one which caters for Australian Conditions. The #23.95 is a cheap way of getting out of the secure server problem - its less than many hosting companies charge to use their shared SSL certificate let alone the work a developer would need to to use this in the first instance.
