is ezimerchant pro a PHP / MySQL based system?

If not, how do i explain to web desinger exactly what it is then?

We alreadyhave one web based business and site up and running which was a practical webs template, but are wanting something personalised this time - have a friend who is a web desinger but no exp with ezimerchant....

ezimerchant pro is not PHP or MYSQL based.

ezimerchant is an offline ecommerce content management system based on HTML templates.

When ezimerchant Pro generates the website it is HTML/Javascript based. Its then FTP uploaded to your webserver.
