Dear Merchant
We are pleased to announce that On Technology has become one of the first companies in Australia to be issued with an Extended Validation (EV) SSL certificate. This new EV SSL technology is designed to raise the level of confidence in the legitimacy and security of the secure website. The technology is so new in fact that at the time of writing, none of the major banks in Australia had such a certificate installed for their Internet Banking sites. Installation of the certificate immediately benefits all of our customers, providing the secure checkout on all of their sites with the extra assurance that comes with the use of the EV SSL certificate, including the green address bar on current model web browsers. We are confident this will have a positive impact on our customer’s sales.
As of today, you will notice this change on your secure checkout area in the address bar of Internet Explorer (V7 or above).

The coloured address bar, a new weapon in the fight against phishing scams, is meant as a sign that a site can be trusted, giving Web surfers the green light to carry out transactions. The green bar already appears on the secured sites such as ebay and PayPal.
In the comming weeks we will also be adding the 'Comodo' Secure certificate to the bottom right hand corner of the GTS checkout to further reinforce to customers of the secure ordering environment they are in when purchasing from an ezimerchant based website.
