Australia Post DRC update

As of ezimerchant Professional V4.00.040 the Australia Post Delivery Rate Calculator has been updated to reflect changes made by Australia Post.

The new available options will be:

Domestic:
Regular Parcel
Express Post

International:
International Air Mail
Sea Mail
Express Courier International (Merchandise)
Express Post International

As always, each of these options can be enabled or disabled by you depending on which options you would like to give clients.

The old option 'International Economy Air' has been removed as it is no longer a supported product from Australia post. Any merchants that have this option enabled (in older versions of ezimerchant) will discover that customers who select this option will be given the 'Air Mail' freight price.

Last month we tried dispensing with Regular Post so all deliveries would be sent by Express Post. We found that without the Regular Post option being offered, the Express Post default would charge at the Regular Post rate.

An expensive experiment. We're now back to having two post options, and asking is this an Ezimerchant phenomenon, or something to do with the ADRC?

Hi

I just tested this, to see if it was still a bug - you are correct - If you disable the Regular Post option, so that Express post is the only method then it will calculate the regular cost by mistake. I will get this corrected asap.
