Hi
why does EMP V4 now put index.html's in the files, images and feeds directories. This tends to mess with the .htaccess settings on my host. Is this a bug or can we turn it off?

We included this so that nosy people cant browse the files, images and data feeds folders.
What exactly is it doing to your .htaccess ? Placing these files into folders like is is pretty standard stuff!

Hi David
essentially it stops .htaccess from working the way I want it too. I have my site setup such that 403's and 404's etc send the user to my home page. Putting the index files there just leaves them in no mans land with a blank screen. Maybe you could make the content of these files configurable with redirects or the like or even as optional creation

Hi
We will try to fit it in. (the amount of people who would actually see this issue would be miniscule - Hence our lack of urgency in getting it rectified.. There are many other higer priority bugs to squash before this one)
