Discount creation for whole categorie

In V4.0 how can I generate a blanket discount (e.g. 5%) on all the listed products in one category, while the remainder categories stay at the listed price?
This would be very handy, as I am using categories such as "Discounted products" and "Discontinued Products" on my Ezimerchant website.

Hi Fred

The discounts and promotions features are not product specific - they are store wide.

The only way to achieve what you want would be to reduce the price for each product by the desired amount.
