When creating new product list and new categories, it would be better if you could allow the file name to be changed or chosen. This would be better for search engines: example: men_watches.htm would be better that cat01.htm

When chosing products, customer should be able to see the item number. This cannot be done in version 3.x

When not using the e-commerce feature (to create just a catalogue), customer should be able to create a wish list or interested product list with product name and code and be able to email this to administrator.

A resonable cost to go from version 3.x to 4 when not using the e-commerce feature....

Thank you!
Frederic

With v3 you can have the product code on the Category page but not on the Detail Product page.

V4 allows both.

Have a squizz here:

If you want help with the code, just ask ;)

One more thing, there should be a possibility to have the keywords specially made for a category to apply to the sub-category. Now the choice is either global or create new ones.

Thanks!

It has been mentioned elsewhere in this forum regarding category title changes, it can't be done,. For explanation as to why is found in this forum.

Category title changes CAN be done!? Each and ever category can have its own title, keyword and description (it has been this way since the early days in V3)

A subcategory wont inherit its parents title. The choice is either the category NAME (not global title as schvarzy suggests) or a user specified title.

sory I don't mean title I meant category name as per original reply. I am aware you can change title, keywords blah blah blah but you are stuck with category123_1.htm, for example.

Hi

Niko is correct, the page name cannot be changed.

The name of the page is irrelevant for search engines. The only reason you would want to change the page names would be for asthetics.
