Up until now we have been doing manual processing of credit cards using cardlink. Great service but its getting very tedious now into our 3rd year so looking for a real time gateway. Thats when i saw EWAY.

EWAY charge 50cents per transaction plus only $200 a year fee as a "special". Normally $350. No setup cost right now as another special.

Each order takes us around 30 seconds to process manually if we are taking it easy. So we can do 120 transactions an hour.

Cost using EWAY for 120 transactions is $60. Cost to pay someone to do it max $25.

Is there something i am overlooking? Is there a more cost effective way to do real time transactions?

If you do find something, please let us know. We're having the same problem - have been using Cardlink for years but the order volume's now getting too cumbersome to do it manually.

Hey guys,

I've been with eway for several years, they've been very reliable and very reasonable people to deal with. I've found they'll do you a deal and reduce their price a bit if you haggle! Copy and paste the link below to the
www.ematters.com.au price list to get eway to come to the party... ematters do seem cheaper.

Or try ematters and let us know what they're like!

Good luck

We have just made available the ezimerchant deferred real-time payment gateway (http://www.ezimerchant.com/ezimerchantdeferredrealtime.asp) service. It is highly competitive and provides all of the flexibility of manual credit card processing with all of the convenience and security of real-time processing.
