No Generation Pop Up?

Hi Guys,

I have just bought a new computer and have just started to use Ezi on it. I am NOT using Vista, just Internet Explorer 7. When I generate the site I do not get the internet pop up, I get nothing, not even an error exclaimation. When I click on the View button next to generate and select view in explorer - nothing happens.

Has anyone had this happen to them and what can I do to fix this problem?

Any help would be great.

Hi Susanne

Please ensure your using the latest copy of ezimerchant Pro (its advisable you tell us in your post what version your running)

You also need to check that IE is set as your default browser and that when you double click on any HTML file on your PC that IE opens and displays the file - If it does not open, then there is a problem with file assosiations for .htm files and this is probably causing the problem in ezimerchant.

Can you check this by finding any HTML file on your hard drive and double clicking it - tell me if IE opens.

Hi David,

Thanks for the responce. It was sorted by ensuing that IE was the default and that my anti virus and anti spy software were not blocking any html related pop ups. I basiclly went to the lowest form of security and built it up until it stopped popping up and then held it just before that.

It's working now and that is the main thing.

FYI - to anyone interested. I am launching a new site next week if you want to pop your heads in and have a look. As always I am happy to recieve and feedback, good or bad. If you hop on now, you can do a before and after!
