Just an idea for new versions.

Instead of a static banner at the "top" of the page how about an option to rotate banners, for those of us who subscribe to affiliate programs. I Know you can put them at the bottom of the page but alot of customers don't like to scroll down that far.

You should be able to put them anywhere you like if you edit the theme.

Yes i can put the <#BannerText> anywhere. but if i have 3 different banners it puts all three of them on the srceen at the same time, instead of rotateing them at timed intervals.
if there is a simple solution to this let me know. you can see on my store that it generated all the banners and scripts i put into the interface within ezimerchant. That's fine for the bottom of a page but would not work at the top.

Hi

Many hosting companies provide a system called entropy banner.

The entropy banner server program will allow the user (you) to specify several banners and assign a priority to each banner.

Once you have supplied all the banners you want, it provides you with a small snippet of code - Which you can then paste into the banner section of ezimerchant Pro.

When ezimerchant Pro generates the site, the banner displayed will be determined by the entropybanner code running on the webserver. (Random, but based on banner priority)

If you are hosting on a cpanel based linux web server you may find you already have access to entropybanner.

www.myshophosting.com (http://www.myshophosting.com) specalises in hosting ezimerchant Professional websites and it also provides access to the easy to use entropy system.
