Display Shopping cart On Slected Pages Only?

Can anyone tell if it is possible to have the shopping cart display on only some of the pages displayed? Or more specifically I want to be able to have a number of Nav links (vert or horizonatl) and on one of those links would be a Go Shopping (or something to that effect) and or my other links would be just to HTML pages (with out the shopping cart).

Generate them yourself and just have text links to them
