Organising Images

I have rather a lot of images and they are getting difficult to manage in one directory. I know that I have to keep them under the images directory, but can I create sub directories under the images directory to assist in managing them? Will Ezimerchant Pro read them when they are uploaded?

Where on your hard drive are they currently stored?

ezimercpro/themes/infolosophy2/singlepage/images is where they all are currently located.
What I would like to do is to break images up into sub directories ie ..../images/subdirectory1, ...../images/subdirectory2 etc.

Hi

You should never place images into any ezimerchant Pro folder.

You should store your images on your hard drive in an easy to locate folder.

We reccommend creating a folder on your C drive called 'websiteimages' or similar.

Place all your product images in to that folder (or subfolders of websiteimages if you wish)

The only time you would put images into the themes\themename\singlepage\images folder would be if your adding images to the theme and following the instructions as per this faq:

No Probs.

Only problem is that if you move the images to where I suggested you will need to reinsert all of them back into the small and large product image sections of ezimerchant Pro.
