Well, I am doing the google adwrods and they are great words but I aint getting a huge amount of clicks and have not sold anything in 2 days so far so who knows what I am doing wrong but it doesnt look promising..
Had 72 clicks today but sold none... well that says theres something wrong...
I am also the cheapest out there bar none... and others in same industry have been doing adwrods for a long time so it must be working for them.
No idea what I am doing wrong though..........
You could try them as you most likely would not have much competition with the keywords you choose as your product is unique, hence making the keywords you choose very cheap....
You would have to choose carefulyl though so you got the audience you wantted

I'd think of advertising in home/reno/decorator magazines perhaps. not necessarily online, but in print media... Perhaps try to get your product featured in a "what's new" section in a magazine?

type in "google keyword" in google and it will link you to googles keyword suggestion page or click on the link below.

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

I am not sure if you have to be already using adwords but I suspect you do to make use of it.

I have used it to collect keywords my opposition use and additional keywords based on a single keyword. For example if I type in GPS it will generate Garmin GPS, street GPS etc etc. Make sure when you create a new category and new product do not use the default global keyword option but manually input the keywords for the products on that page plus a few general keywords, such as water pump etc. I suugest this becaus many pages are not being listed by google most likely in part due to me not doing what I preach ;)

Hey niko
I use adwrods and that tool and I can find search volume trends and advertsier competition but no real way of seeing who or how much the keywords are being used by competitors other than the line graph.
Is that the part your talking about or is there more of a tool I have missed?
Cheers

MT if you want to really see what the competition is doing you would have seen references to a program called keyword elite in the eBook you got from the site.. Try this tool. if you click on the links in the ebook for keyword elite it will take you to their site that has heaps of video demonstrations on how the program works.. take a look at these videos before you consider using it if you like Also Try to avoid content advertising with google adwords. not only did i find this affected negatively my CTR (click through rate) it was also costly as i hardly got conversions this way... I find probably more so to do with click fraud than anything. so i just stick to advertising in the search results with adwords. and have much better CTR which helps me get better ranking positions for less money.

If you need the free ebook link again it ishttp://www.fishingtackleshop.com.au/awmadeeasy_signed_branded.pdf
