Test Site and a statement.

I know that if you want to publish more than one site you have to purchase a license. But what if i just want to experiment with different configurations with the site i already have.
I don't want to mess up what i have already built. And the Flowers Express Site will not alow you to import inventory from an csv file. And when i try to do an trial site it says that it has expired.

Also Maybe in future versions you could Import products without it automatically updateing your categories. Maybe you could make it so that you can pull from the imported file only what you wanted. and put the products in the catagories you wanted them to be in.

Just a note, I recently stopped using another companies Shopping cart software (StoreFront by legarde) I just hope Ezimerchant is not going to follow the trend of Add on components to the software. I think it is Silly to pay 600.00us only to have to pay for options that should have already been included in the package. Keep up the good work.

Go ahead and send me version 4.0 of ezimerchant as soon as it comes out, just bill it to my account.

We tightened up the registration processes because we found many people using trial versions of ezimerchant Pro to build non ecommerce websites - hence avoiding the purchase price and our monthly fee

They were also using ezimerchant Pro (trials) to build the catalogue part of the website and then modifing the viewcart page to link to their own order forms - Again avoiding purchase fees and ongoing fees.

Because you are a valid registered and paid up user you CAN make a duplicate copy of your ONLINE STORE X folder (located in c:\program files\ezimercpro\websites\ )

And give the copy a new name.. example: Online Store TEST

When you open ezimerchant Pro click the ADD SITE button and browse for this new 'Online Store TEST' folder.. ezimerchant Pro will then add it to the list of websites - You can then use this to experiment with.

BE CAREFUL however NOT to update the GTS from within the copy as it will overwrite settings on the GTS which will affect your live site.
